This page describes what happens to personal data on this website. The site is a catalogue with a contact form: there is no shop, no visitor account, no advertising and no tracking.

Lignum Trade is responsible for the data described here. Write to order@lignumtrade.com with any question about it, or to ask us to correct or delete something.

The enquiry form

The form asks for your name, your e-mail address and your country. Those three are required, because without them we cannot answer. A telephone number is optional. Everything else you fill in — the size, the quantity, whether you need print, the packaging, and anything you write in the message box — is stored with them.

We use it to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quotation, and for nothing else. Each submission is saved in this site’s own database and sent by e-mail to order@lignumtrade.com. There is no newsletter, and we do not pass your details to anyone for marketing.

The anti-spam question is a small sum worked out by this site. No third-party spam service is involved, so nothing about your visit leaves the site because of it.

Cookies and your browser

The site sets one cookie, named csrf. It holds a random value and nothing else: it is what lets the form check that a submission came from a page we served. It is not a visitor number and it is not used to recognise you later. Signing in to the back office sets a second cookie, the session, and only staff ever have one. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no social-media script anywhere on this site.

Nothing on these pages is loaded from anywhere else. The typeface is served from this site, so no request about your visit goes to a third party at all.

The web server keeps ordinary access logs — the address requested, the time, the IP address and the browser’s own identification — which we use to run the site and to look into faults.

How long we keep it

An enquiry stays in the site’s database, and in the order@lignumtrade.com mailbox, for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep our own record of the business. Ask us, and we will delete it.

The site runs on a rented server. An enquiry is sent on from it through Google’s mail service and delivered to the order@lignumtrade.com mailbox, which Microsoft 365 hosts. All three process the data on our behalf and for no purpose of their own. Nothing is sold, and nothing is passed to anyone else unless the law requires it.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to order@lignumtrade.com.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.
